Committed to Quality – PCI Electrical extensive knowledge, over 20 years experience and performance ensures the success of a project. We implement a comprehensive quality programme at every level – from planning and execution, to coordination and construction, PCI Electrical provide a service you can trust.
Health & Safety – PCI Electrical is committed to ensuring the highest safety standards for both general public and the workforce. We are only too aware that working with electricity within the workplace can prove to be lethal.
As a leading electrical engineering firm, we stringently and proactively manage the health and safety aspects of our projects very carefully, meeting and often exceeding the standards set by industry legislation. We our CHAS accredited and RAMS (Risk & Method Statements) are issued for every project we carry out.
Training to Win – Company staff is the strength. We are dedicated to continually developing and evaluating our workforce skills and talents. Regular training and personal excellence plays an integral part of the PCI Electrical success story.
Pricing & Contracts – Tender Submissions: We are happy to provide tender submissions for projects under usual forms of construction contract and to price work directly from design team drawings and documents. We would normally always suggest alternative methods or materials other than those specified, in order to reduce costs or project lead times.
Quotations – For smaller projects PCI Electrical is happy to provide quotations under our normal working terms. For quotations, the price is the most that would be paid for the job.
For projects with an unknown amount of work necessary, for example in older property refurbishments or where the project definition is unclear, we can provide a cost and time estimate. We would always contact the client for approval before committing to work beyond that which was estimated.
Variations – All too often, construction project costs can go out of control if variations are not managed correctly by the main contractor and subcontractors. For projects that we do, any changes required to the original specification would always be communicated via variation orders, which list the cost and time effects of changes. Where changes are required, many options can be presented with different cost and time impacts. Regular reporting of job status against plan or budget, including any changes, ensures that the total construction project can be managed effectively.
